Advertising Innovations was founded by Paula Kopp in 2004 and has grown to be an essential and integral part of the Four Corners Business Community. In February 2026, Paula officially transferred ownership of Advertising Innovations to Alissa and Hunter Sykes. After 20 plus years of serving the promotional and business needs of the 4-Corners region and beyond, Paula is passing the torch and looking forward to some well-deserved travel and relaxation.

About Alissa and Hunter: Hunter grew up in Colorado and has lived in Durango off and on since junior high, and Alissa is an original Bay Area native that feels more at home in the Rockies than the city. We moved back to Durango with our son almost 9 years ago and have been actively coaching and volunteering in the local community ever since. If you have kids in Devo or Durango Winter Sports Club, there’s a good chance that Hunter has coached your kids or that you’ve met one of us in passing!

Both of us bring a wealth of experience in marketing and promotions, and sure have used plenty of these products in our lives!
